Microsoft today confirmed that
Halo 3 has been released to manufacturing, following
sightings of the finished game on Xbox Live this past weekend. The next stop for the little green man is the production plants, where millions of plastic discs and an army's worth of
Spartan helmets will be flying off assembly lines over the next four weeks in anticipation of the
Dew-chugging fiends who will risk holding their bloated bladders for a choice spot in line -- and not just at game retailers, no, that line will snake around your local
7-Eleven. And all for day-one
bragging rights, apparently.
So let's just sit back, take a deep breath, and gently practice patience.
Halo 3 is done, and we'll
finish the fight soon enough. (
Lord willin'.)
